ABOUT ME
Gabriela Cardona Walther is a Mexican Mixed Media Artist based in the border between Tijuana and San Diego. She graduated in June 2018 with a Bachelor in Graphic Design from the Autonomous University of Baja California. Her education in photography has been mostly self-thought and attended to workshops and master classes with photographers such as Francisco Mata Rosas, Gerardo Montiel Klint and Daniela Edburg. Since 2019 she co-funded Hausu Media, a production and creative house of content creation and cinema.
Her work is influenced by philosophy, surrealism and magical realism. Carrington, Monet, Graciela Iturbide and Duane Michals are part of her inspiration. Using tools such as analog photography, analog processes, digital media, aiĀ and painting/scanning process to unveil.
